Notice regarding Family Law and Estate Litigation Loans

Ask Funding Limited will no longer be offering it’s Family Law and Estate Litigation Loan products effective from 2^nd February 2011.

This decision reflects our continued caution about valuations in the property sector across Australia and the impact of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act. The relevant provisions of this legislation came into effect on 1 July 2010 and introduced significant additional obligations for credit providers.

The effect of this decision is as follows:-

1. no new Matrimonial or Inheritance Funding loans will be made;

2. in respect of any existing loans, partially drawn down loans and/or offers of credit they will continue to be processed in the usual manner pursuant to the relevant credit contracts.
